Phyllis Ben-Asher

Phyllis Ben-Asher, for many years, sculpted in stone.Now she’s turned her creative energies to bringing her favorite animated characters to paper for children to enjoy and learn. As a mother and grandmother herself, she is happy being able to share the joy of reading with children everywhere.

Ben-Asher lives in New Jersey with her husband. Together they have travelled extensively, both nationally and internationally, visiting their children and grandchildren and conjuring up new ideas to bring to her young readers.

The inspiration to write this book came to Ben-Asher while driving through the Dutch countryside outside Amsterdam. Her next story is already percolating in her mind, getting ready to come to life.
